COVER REVEAL: Making Friends with Alice Dyson by Poppy Nwosu

Well this is a moment I’ve been waiting for since forever.
Well six years maybe. Which included five years of trying to get published and the past almost year of getting this book ready to go with my publishers, Wakefield Press.
Which means obviously I’ve spent a lot of time imagining what kind of cover I would like for my book.
And you know what?
 
I really couldn’t have ever imagined anything as beautiful as this one!
 
I mean, check out my name on the cover!

And also check out that quote by VIKKI WAKEFIELD, an author whose work I just love and admire, and have done for a really long time, and look at what she said! About my book!
It kind of blows my mind.
 So yeah.... today was a good day. 

​Also, there is a really cool story behind that illustration of Alice Dyson on the front, which was actually drawn especially for me by my dad, and I’ll be putting together a post on book covers within my Journals of a Debut Author blog series, so keep your eyes peeled for that one when it comes up. It will be pretty fun, because I’ll be able to provide a bit of a behind the scenes on the different drafts we looked at too, which was pretty fascinating.
 
So to end this post, don’t you just think Wakefield Press and their designer did an amazing job?
