Running up that hill.
Kate Bush.

You don't wanna hurt me
But see how deep the bullet lies
Unaware I'm tearing you asunder
Oh, there is thunder in our hearts

Is there so much hate for the ones we love?
Well tell me, we both matter, don't we?

You
It's you and me

It's you and me, you won't be unhappy.

Today I wanted to try something new, which will probably be recurring around here.
Just for fun.

I enjoy reading poetry and love music, and have always been of the opinion that song lyrics are a form of poetry themselves.
These posts will highlight songs I care about, focusing on the poetry of the words.

And hopefully even if you don’t like the music you can still enjoy reading them as poems.
Because in my opinion, poems they are.
